ADULT DANCE GROUPS
As a Dance Teacher, I have been aware of the need to find different events for my pupils; from tea/dinner dances, cabaret nights and dance weekends. It was with this in mind and using my experience in the cruise industry, that I arranged for my own school to Cruise & Dance on board MSC Lirica in 2003 and what a fabulous experience for my dancers it was! They have gone on to cruise many times creating such great memories (but of course always forgetting the routines we taught!!) At the time, I was fortunate enough to be able to know the ship we cruised on, what type of floor it had for lessons as well as the type of music played on-board (and how often).
Taking a group of pupils on a cruise is a great way to supplement their joy of dancing and also encourage pupils from across all of your classes to get to know one other and socialise though dancing. Having the opportunity to organise this kind of event with confidence also further enhances your standing amongst these adults; taking classes whilst on-board is great fun for them with specially arranged times for lessons, get-together’s whilst cruising and matching dining arrangements.

Here at Cruise & Dance Holidays we offer a truly unique experience for dance schools and pupils alike.
When you are looking at the pricing, please don’t think that you can find a price online for the same holiday, as this simply isn’t true... The packages that we offer are unique and cannot be bought online or indeed via any other travel agent.

Here is why:

In many instances, the price may appear to offer a saving but in many cases there may be some prices within the group that actually result in a higher expense.

We work incredibly hard to encourage the cruise lines to 'bend' the group rules to actually allow your dance group members to have lessons on board.

We work closely with the cruise lines to ensure that everyone in the group is linked: we arrange same time dining, group members being sat together in the restaurant and do our best to ensure that we can offer the best located cabins on the ship at the time of booking.

We visit the ship prior to your cruise departure and liaise with the Cruise Director/Events Manager to ensure that he understands the needs of your group and to ensure that all the lesson times are suitable for your dance group.

Cruise & Dance have to cover the cost for the sound, lighting and use of the stage/dance floor for all the groups that practice

Your Cruise & Dance representative is committed to being available 24/7 at the time of the cruise departure and during your time away to ensure that if any element should not be as expected, we are on hand to resolve any issues as quickly as we can.
